Lunch Interval-Day 2

In an immense first session of the day Lancashire batted extremely well to score 103 in the session. There were some low points but to talk about them we have Ian Botham and geust star Brian Lara....

19 over:

IB: In the 19th over Lancashire seemed to have taken the match by the neck by getting 50 quickly.

BL: Yes, I agree. Bilal and Surendar the openers seemed to have everything under control.

IB: Well apart from a few LBW appeals they were immense. 16 for Bilal, slow but steady and confident, and an amazing 36 for surendar.

BL: If it carries on like this this( sorry about the punt) will be an easy comeback for Lancs.


21 over

IB: A two from the ball, now olny one ball left in the over

BL: All he has to do his defend or go for a single........... What a BOWL and he appeals.....

IB: Given out what a bowl by mascarenhas with an LBW decision. The man gone is Surendar with 40 runs.

BL: He had a great innings but there's no point argueing with that decision



LB: I beleive the next man is Phil who is expected to be one for the present, past and future.

BL: I don't know if that makes sense but im not going to stop you lol. He has looked good in the warmup games for the season and i think he could be good one day

LB: As good as you?

BL: Not Quite lol

Tea Interval-Day 2

In another impressive display by the batters there were some also good bowling out there too. The amazing thing is 103 in the first session 103 in the second lol again people who don't need any practice is Mr.Ian Botham and Mr. Brian Lara

42 over:

IB: We have got the first 50 off the innings for Lancashire and it has gone to the one the only Bilal

BL: He has batted very well and got his 50 off 134 balls wich he started slow so it is quite good.



IB: He has hit many fours but still no sixes in this match but maybe we will see the bowlers get them lol

BL: Lol. Overall a great performance. 118-1 at this present time

48 Over:

IB: A great over at the moment by Hampshire and...... Phil has been dismissed for 30

BL: I think he was unlucky because the ball bounced up after some dampness in the pitch and he edged it to slip where Brown caught with ease.



IB: He did okay getting his 30 off 81 balls but he was very unfortunate but if you look at it from Hampshire's point of view then it is a breakthrough.

BL: He was very unlucky but Jaztheman, the captain for the day today as standing in, should steer them to victory we hope....

50 Over:

BL: Jaztheman has steered Lancashire to an easy 150 of 50 Overs wich is very respectable.



IB: Yes he has and they deserve it with all the hard work they have but into it. A very sound performance.

55 Over:

IB: A big shock has happened when we went of for a commercial break Bilal was bowled quite convincingly

BL: Yes it was it came out of nothing a normal bowl which he edged this time into the hands of the wicketkeeper Pothas which was a good catch.

IB: He went for a fantastic score of 77 in just 174 balls. He has batted extremely well her today and deserves lots of praise

BL: A good wicket for Taylor and Hampshire though but in comes Treva at the score. 157-3

74 Over:

IB: Jaztheman and Treva have steered the already moving Lancashire to 200. The partnership is already growing and could make a big total

BL: I agree. They are chasing down Hampshire's total and are doing well. Jaztheman has made 19(62) whilst Treva has stormed ahead with 28(70)

IB: Good point there Brian but nearly tea so not many more runs will come to day.
