Can anyone help me identify this item?



Inscriptions on the rear are "S.M.C.C." and "BATTING AVERAGE 1919". There's a silver hallmark for 1900.
Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club (SMCC) didn't exist as an organisation until 2003, so I don't think that's it.
