Firstly, ALL records must be backed up with a screenshot, for the simple reason that if you don't post a screenshot, nobody will believe you. Instructions for taking a screenshot can be found elsewhere on the forums.
If you think you've got a record, check the categories in this section to see if you've beaten one of those records. If your particular record is not in any category, start one!
When making a new category, check to see if your record is actually interesting. For example; you may find it really interesting to know what the record is for the highest score by a left handed, number 9 batsman at Sydney is, but most people probably don't care. Stick to the obvious records and you can't go wrong.
