Pc arrived yesterday.

God damm its a beast, 20 seconds from boot to windows.

Anyone every played brian lara cricket at 16xaa + 16xaf High Quality, with adaptive aa x quality? Lets just say it looks a different game

The only annoying this is sometimes it dips below 200 frames per second.

Lol sorry i meant 16xaa not 14, post has been changed.

though it can be better if u take two Nvidia 7950 gx2 chipset instead of XTX1950

Only if you want shimmering and much lower image quality, which no one does unless they are fools.

Well i didnt realise it would take us two weeks to play a game lol, i was joining to pass time while i wait for this pc :).

dude, the Nvidia 7950gx2 was giving 173 Frames in FEAR aat everything high , whereas the 1950 was giving about 158. Compare for urself :p

the reason being is that the nvidia 7950 gx2 is dual cored and 1 gb :cool

I dont doubt it.

However nvidia suffers from shimmering, and low image quality, Fact.
If you want extra 10fps go with nvidia. If you want hdr, and the best image quality go with ati.

I prefer the latter.

Nvidia also has better Opengl support, and also that HDr is also quite good in the 7950gx2. anyways, we cant do anything now :p

How about posting some screens of Prey or FEAR in full form ?

Id never swap my x1950xtx's for 7950gx2's, the image quality just isnt good enough.
But either way, they are the most powefull cards out at the moment.

No langy boy, the new cooler on the x1950xtx is much quieter than the x1900 and the geforce card.

I dont even hear it, it cools the card down in seconds, then goes back to being quiet.
The x1900 series has a terrible fan, in terms of noise. It does indeed 'squeel'.
