India tour of Australia - 2018/19

That's impossible that he alone to score 300
I was trying to say that our team's score should surpass 300 at the very least. :)

Pant did what he could, well supported by Yadav especially the deliveries he faced from Starc at that speed of 150+ kph. Bumrah had a batting average of 1.43 before this innings, what can you expect from him and Shami.

We will miss a specialist spinner here, guess playing Kuldeep at Lord's still haunts them to not try and experiment.

Oh my !!!!! Rishabh Pant how can you let those go off ?!!! That too in such a situation :facepalm[DOUBLEPOST=1544941201][/DOUBLEPOST]The way the ball is bouncing danger signs for Indian batting :spy

Good to see Indian Players coming to see Marcus Harris after he got struck. How many Aussie players would've came to see if it were an Indian Batsman 4 yrs down the line ?

Starc fumbled the bag today. The lengths he bowled, particularly to the tail-enders, were appalling to say the least. He's known for cleaning up tails with yorkers yet majority of his deliveries today were short, giving the likes of Umesh sufficient time to play him off with ease. Disappointed by how Pant played as well, hare-brained doesn't even begin to describe it. Extremely poor rotation of strike.

Believe me if Kohli was there with Umesh Yadav he would've taken the score past Australia's score. Actually scored 100+ runs with him in Edgbaston

It looked Out to me mate ..... not sure what's wrong with it perhaps the illusion we see after more footage/images again and again creates doubt in the minds.

Its the umpire's call from the pitch which is taken into consideration is my problem.. What would the umpire give if nothing was said from on field umpire for such decisions.. The system in itself is really to create a shield for umpires.. Its a hard job as it is but we need right decisions in the end.. Same issue with umpire's call on review system..

Anyway we managed to get closer but the lead of 43 is really beneficial for Aussies, and the bowling has been missing edges fest.. Bowling is the part I usually look up to but that hasnt been the case in this match for me..

Credits due where its due - Jasprit Bumrah has been fantastic ever since he made his debut in tests last year in South Africa , plays all three formats , fitness level of his is top notch and more importantly compared to other Indian bolwers his pace was right up there in mid 140s considering the workload he has in the past year. With the world cup coming up next year just after the IPL the team management needs to take special care of him by not wearing him out by playing too much of cricket.

Things not looking good at the moment for India. A lead of 43 didn't look so bad earlier but the way the 2nd innings is shaping up, I don't think India will be chasing anything less than 300. That would take some doing given that our openers and the lower day are in disarray. Can't really expect the likes of Kohli to fire everytime.

Good turnd around. If khawaja gets going, He will score a century here.

One thing for sure Imo for next test, India has to bring Rohit Sharma as an opener in next game, The current openers looking completely clueless on this fast Australian pitches and are getting beaten for pace.

Anything above 250 would be safer for Australia to win this game

He will get out early now

Scored 47 v/s Australia at SCG chasing 384
Scored 28 v/s South Africa at Cape Town chasing 208
Scored 1 v/s South Africa at Centurion chasing 260
Scored 45 v/s England at Southampton chasing 251
Scored 0 v/s England at The Oval chasing 463

Again we are chasing 200+ here

He has done so well in the past but don't know why he is struggling with it now. Pressure of Captaincy ? Over-confidence ? Arrogance ? Lack of Quality ?[DOUBLEPOST=1544953816][/DOUBLEPOST]
When it comes to Limited Overs Rohit Will Dominant The Game :lol

Enough now :facepalm

And what's this all whinging about ?
I am respectfully replying to your posts. Yes, I am the one whinging.

Binny won the games for Karnataka and not Nair ? Alright, that's the end of my discussion.
