India v Sri Lanka, its not over yet

This is confirmed... India Play Srilanka For 3 Test.. and a Tri Series involving... Ind Sl and New Zealad

I'm really sad, I know it's a done to death series but I'm just happy there's more test cricket.

Yeah and that too 3. This time, its also in SL where India lost last time. I dont mind the tests. Its the ODI's that irritate big time.

Could this be a possible reason? India fancy there chances of beating SL, and staying atop the ICC rankings?

We lost to SL last time in SL. We have our foot over them when it comes to playing in India, but as far as playing them in SL is concerned, its still very much a level contest (maybe they have the advantage, even; in tests that is).

I don't think so. I'd rate India's chances of beating South Africa in india has better than beating Sri Lanka away.

it's a very hard place to play, Jayawardene on a sri lankan pitch is about as bad as it gets for a bowler and they spin square and usually swing a lot.

Sri Lanka at home is no easy feat, as England and even the Indians know from their last tours

SL will have to find new Mendis though to beat us this time around.

I think it's fair to say that we simply were outone by Mendis alone in that series. Doubt he'll make an impact in this series, if he does play.

The Indians seemed to have sorted Mendis out. One benefit of playing SL so much :p

Especially Yuvraj, who tonked him in the ODIs.
