March 28, Sydney: Following the ball tampering scene, CA had earlier appointed an investigatory group led by Iain Roy which has come up with the report in 48 hours as follows. The key culprits, Australian captain, Steve Smith, vice-captain David Warner and Cameron Bancroft who actually tampered the ball, have been suspended by Cricket Australia. The former two will face a 12-month ban and the young man will miss Australian action for 9 months.

Kane Williamson has been appointed as the temporary captain for SunRisers Hyderabad, @Yash. and @Manish. can change their line-up accordingly. Waiting for the BCCI's verdict on their further participation in the Indian Premier League, they are eligible to play the second round at of now.

The BCCI is yet to announce the participation of the two players in this season of the IPL, reports say that the NOCs provided by CA doesn't stop them from playing cricket out of Australian soil.​
