Please read carefully and do not repeat anything i mention below in your reply!
I repaired my computer yesterday by putting in the installation CD and clicking 'upgrade'. It wen all smoothly apart from ie7 beta didnt work. When I tried to open in it came up with 'The procedure entry point internet get security could not be located in the dynamic link library WININET.dll'. I realized that this was the same error i got when i didnt restart my computer after installing ie7 beta 2 so i reinstalled ie7 but i kept getting the same error.
The obvious thing to do would be to reinstall ie7 BUT (and it is a big BUT) when i open add and remove programs, select the 'show updates' button at the top, the only thing i get in 'Windows Update' is Windows Media Player. Does anyone know if it is possible to uninstall ie7 manually
Thanks in advance,
Kush
