iPhone sync problem

Alrite so I bought an iPhone a couple months back and it was all fine until a couple weeks ago. The problem is that when I try to sync anything, it syncs and stuff but it does NOT update my phone. Also on iTunes, it shows the same memory status.

Any help will be appreciated

Backup your library, delete it from Itunes, sync the empty playlist.
Check if the iphone has deleted everything.
Now, restore the playlist and sync again.

I actually restored my phone and it worked
