Is roster editing possible?

Is there any way to edit the player attributes? I would like to do this en masse and try lowering the fielding speed to try and prevent easy singles being stopped by ice-skating gurus. At this rate, the only way I can figure out is to make players manually, but that would be a royal pain, considering I am not sure the method will work. Ideally I would like some way to export player data to a csv or txt file and then reimport it.
Any of the editor builders from 2004 days keen to make such a tool? I would gladly do it myself, but I sadly lack the programming skills required to make such a tool.

My editor only allows export of all player data at present but it would be possible to change the range exported so it just covered certain stats. Abilities are grouped in 4 byte strings with 5 abilities to each. This obviously complicates things are we can't make an exported file hold variables for the other attributes. Alternatively I can write a button that will send the player speed, agility etc down to the same level for every player unless raised again manually.
