Issues forum moderator?

There's a moderator (a couple of them) for every forum section except the Issues forum, which is probably the one that needs them the most...

So should we appoint somebody to that post whose unanimously unbiased (not sure what happened to Sureshot, I guess his name got taken off when he became a global mod)

Or do we leave the control of that section in the hands of only global mods / administrators.
 
I think Sureshot is probably still controlling that section and if something is offensive there for example then if it's just reported, the Global mods and admins will be able to go and deal with it.
 
Yes, as you guessed Global mods aren't listed as forum specific mods which is why Sureshot isn't listed.

That's basically how it will operate.

From my point of view the only moderation in that forum should be to prevent people from making personal attacks, instead of discussing the issues. I'd rather have near open-slather in one forum, then debates taking over unrelated threads.

And as FB says, use the post report button.
