Fed up with dire cricket management sims? Long for a hugh database of teams and players all over the world? Want that extra attention to detail that only a football manger 2007 game can offer, but in a cricket sim? Then join me, the one man army to try and encourage sports interactive to make a cricket management game. We need your support. Only the master of management games can do it, other attempts (no names mentioned but you both know who you are) have been poor at best. Limited options, gameplay, bugs galore, and severe lack of playability have and will continue to be a thorn in the cricket management games side, unless we take action.
The amazing depth of the code in football manager 2007 means that there is great variety in things like the 2d pitch view when watching a game. This could be successfully used in a cricket sim, or you could have just commentary. Maybe they could take more of an icc approach and have badly draw characters for extra realism. However with the depth and time that goes into a sports interactive game (not to mention the support they offer in terms of fixes and updates) im sure there would be great variety.
Now please post below if you think this is a good idea, if we can drum up support and lots of it, maybe they will take notice. After all, who would have though they'd create a baseball manager game for christs sake?
