Jack Teague's Managerial Career - Worksop vs Thurrock [FM 06]

Ouch. Harsh on you not to squeeze a draw but a good performance nonetheless Trev. I'm sure you can expect great things with this side.

F*****g unlucky guys. You worked your f*****g socks off and definately deserved more! I am proud of the lot of ya. Fantastic effort and to almost get a draw against a side in the top divison and 4 divisions above us. Well played all of you. You can all have a rest now and we can try and produce this kind of performance to smash Thurrock on the 30th. Well played lads, now who wants a pint?

So we went to the pub for a few drinks and had a really good time with the lads. Got home at sensible time and decided to pick up some fish & chips on the way back. I finished it and then headed for bed. Some hard earned sleep needed.

20th July
Woke up at around 12 o'clock on the Wednesday, not having to go into work today. I made a cup of tea whilst I turned on the laptop. I sat down and checked my emails. There was one from the chairman, Reymond Howard.

I needed to do something about the finance's. I needed to get some money in from selling a few players. I have already been approached by Hucknall Town. But I did get a call from Konrad, the 40 year old keeper that we offered a contract to. He told me that he was not interested in a move to Worksop and was moving to another club. It didn't come as a suprise to me but I was slightly dissapointed. I then got a call from Hucknall to say that they just wanted me word and announce that Paul Dempsey would become one of their players for 3k. I accepted and we had just brought our finance level close to breaking even for the month. Not much happened for the rest of the day with me going out with some mates for a bit of karting and making the most of my day off. We then went to the pub for a little while after and got a curry afterwards. Overall, a fantastic off day...

21st July
Back to work again today. A bit of a hangover, but nothing a few pints of water can't cure. Got another phone call from Hucknall, this time asking about the completion of player Miles Thorpe. He was playing in the reserve side and I let him go for only ?1,000. But another step towards breaking even on this month's bank balance...

Dont drink too hard Trevy ,try to wake up earlier .12 is not the time to wake up :p Move ur way as the Finace is heading , all the best for your upcoming mathc .Excellent story and nice presentation :clap

22nd July - 29th July
A pretty boring week to be honest. Not much to do. Went to training but that was about it. The injured Barry Miller was to be out for 2-3 months and I didn't really want him to still be at the club with us having to pay his wages. So I spoke with him about it and asked him if we could terminate his contract. He reacted very badly and stormed out of my office. So I immediately decided he would go onto the transfer list and just hoped a club would offer his asking price of 5K. No one offered in the week and I turned to the match against Thurrock on the 30th. I decided to go talk with Peter about the line-up and he thought that we must play the players who didn't get a game, but start with the same line-up as we did against Watford.

You dont want that player in ur club as he is injured  very mean , its ur Club responsibility to give medical attention . He was right he should be angry , best of luck for your next match Trev. nice story and excellent presentation :clap
