Story Joe Hall: The Road To The Top(CK07)

lol. no ill only be playing as 12th man but i have the roster update that has england A on so i may end up playing for them you never know

Well if you continue this story you most certainly will get nominated for SOTM in November and may even win it for your original idea. Good Luck

Err, there have actually been quite a few "individual" stories as you put them, but none of them seemed to go on for more than about 2 matches.

Yes i got got the idea a while back but waited until I got the game on PC to do it properly and i will stick to it alot longer than 2 matches.

Well, Burnsy may not have done it first but there arent many (if any) that are still active and going strong. Does it really matter who came up with the idea of an individual story? It matters who uses the conecpt to its full potential (eg Burnsy)

watch out for first day of play will probably post tommorow.

Thankyou I'm glad you enjoy it. Unfortunately I have nt been able to start first game of season due to having to look after younger brothers and soe other stuff shall probably ever post first match as a whole or day by day wich ever I decide to do.

edit: I will be auto-playing all parts of matches I do not take part in (adding to the realism of it being a career story) so the entire first match will be auto-played

Bad News Gray Nicholls

I recieved a phone call today from Gray Nicholls.I had been chasing up them about my gear wich had still not arrived. First i got through to the secretary who told me that Mr.Rodgers(representative from Gray Nicholls) was not in at the moment and asked if I would like to leave a message. I told her my name and that I was ringing to find out why my gear hadn't arrived. So after that I went out into Wakefield with some mates to look around the shops. when I got back there was 4 messsages from Mr.Rodgers. I had only been out 2 and a half hours so I guessed it must be important.

I rang again 10 minuites later only to be told again by the secretary that Mr.Rodgers was not in. I asked her if she knew what was going on but she said she didn't know. I then got a call around 8:15PM. It was Mr.Rodgers who seemed relieved to have got hold of me. I asked him what the hell was going on and why hadn't my gear arrived. "Ahh" was what followed that and he said "Gray Nicholls has decided to withdraw our sporsorship of you. The contact has been terminated and you will not be recieving your gear." Thats when I snapped. I shouted down the phone" WHAT THE F**K DO YOU MEAN" I shouted at him some more about it and put the phone down on him. I knew it had been too good to be true. My first week as a pro-cricketer and being sponored by one of the biggest companies in the world? How likely was that to go perfectly and smoothly.

Now feelling totally humiliated and angry I realised that i was stranded with no gear and was playing for one of the biggest counties in the country. I started thinking what the hell am I going to do now?

Quite an interesting twist. Now that you aren't sponsered by Gray Nicholls you can now pick up some of those Gray Nicholls Jet gloves :D. Oh so comfortable.

Nevermind about the GN sponsorship. You should ring up MB Malik. They'll sponsor anyone with their quality gear.

Nice twist in the tale. Keep up this story.
