I doubt he was dropped; He's just injured. Jones will be at the Ashes in my opinion.

Ah well, at least this can finally shut up all of those GoJo doubters. You have Read in the side now, let's hope he does well.

Jones has a hairline fracture on his right ring-finger but England's management made a point of saying the injury was not an issue in selection.

I don't agree with that, I think his injury is the main reason. If they were gonna drop him for his lack of runs then they would have done it sooner.

I think the injury came at a perfect time. If ever they had an oppurtunity to drop Jones, then this is it.
