Jones likely to miss Ashes

I've had keyhole surgery in my knee, I was running 1 month after. He should be fine.
My house had keyhole surgery. I got my locksmith to do it.

On a lighter note, I agree with Symonds_sixes perception here - he should be fit and raring to go in a month.

Why would someone say that he is gonna be out for the ashes.
There is no way that knee surgery would keep him out that long.

So I take it from these comments you all know how bad his knee problem is? I doubt they would say he is likely to miss the Ashes without some sort of proof.

The Ashes is 6 months away, ofcourse he's going to miss the Ashes. Know what you're talking about before making comments like that.

It's not just the surgery, it's the recovery period, then getting back to fitness, then back to bowling in the nets, then back to be fit enough to last 5 days in a test match. Don't think he will play properly untill next year's domestic season in my opinion.

Well keyhole surgery is considered non serious surgery, it's not like he's having an knee reconstruction, it's probably just cartlidge damage.

6 months is still a long way away.
He can still recover in that time.
The thing that England need to worry about is his form.
He won't just start taking wickets again.
He needs plenty of first class cricket first to get back in form before selected again.

You're contradicting yourself now. That's what we are saying. It's not just the injury he needs to recover from, he needs to get in the mental state, the physical state, then get back to bowling and then play some form of cricket before a test match. We can't just throw him straight back in there. He won't play in the Ashes. It would be stupid of the selectors to stick him in.

Hes the Shane Bond of England. Always injuried and can never catch a break. Bad luck to Jones I was looking forward to see him go downunder.
jones is a good player and he is the main strike bowler of england and as per my view point every player can bounce back and make a good come back such as jason gillespie, he scored the 201 vs bangladesh and in my opinion he could be a great idol for many people as he has fought back for his place in the tem i think jones is going to come back and he is going to be a great bowler and he will pick more than 500 wickets in his career and i will bet on him with all of my money.

thank you
