How about "Does the camaraderie that exists between the Australian and English teams add to or detract from the series as a contest?"
Yeah, that sounds much more professional, could that be included? Im going to have a crack at this, sounds like fun!

Yeah I like the sound of that topic and have a few ideas for an introduction. It'll definitely be in the poll :)

Poll is up. I've shortened the final question for the purposes of the poll as it was too long to fit in!
Poll will be open for about a week.

Only 6 votes on this atm and time running out.
What will happen if two subjects are tied on the same amount of votes when the poll closes?

I've rather cheekily voted for something that I pretty much wrote a thesis for in the Eng v Aus thread :p

Looks like Jones v Read is our winner. An article on the topic to be submitted to me via e-mail colin @ planetcricket.org (without the spaces) by next sunday night.
Approx 750 words, please don't go over 1000. The title is quite flexible so you can bend it however you want. Sadly I doubt I'll be able to write one this time but I will try to submit one next time (you never know though :p)
Good luck to everyone and the contest is now open.

N.B. - please don't post your article in this thread as judging it meant to be anonymous

A word of warning for mine; I'm swamped with English Media, Product Design, History and Science coursework so my entry will be a little ring-rusty. :p

Hopefully you'll forgive me for prioritising my schoolwork. :)

I have the introduction written already. I will prioritise schoolwork too but I will try and do a paragraph or so each evening.

Thats good, I was struggling to write it with school work, but should get an entry in now

yay i only just found the thread but now ill be able to do it, ready for some kick ass journalism? yes skateboarders is coming ;) :p

Thanks Colin, i've nearly finished all my work now so this deadline is a lot better for me.
