Are you suggesting that it was bad to break up Sky's monopoly on the premiership was a bad thing, breaking it into packages and not allowing one broadcaster exclusive rights is surely a good thing for the viewing public.Sureshot said:I wonder if the EU will put their arse in where it's not wanted again like the did with the football as you could say Sky have a monopoly of Cricket.

I for one would welcome the idea of the same kind of thing happening to cricket, although I would prefer if all of Englands home matches remained free to view.

I would prefer all England cricket matches to be free to air, but you have to be realistic, I think home matches are more special, just like Wimbledon, British Open Golf, British GP, etc...JamesyJames3 said:Quick question - Are you guys that are really fighting for this ok with Sky showing winter tours and one-dayers?
Because I didnt hear you shouting keep cricket free before sky got further rights this year?
JamesyJames3 said:I said are they happy? if so, its a bit hypocritical. Especiaally those who watch the one-day and away tours on sky!
The BBC only ever covered deciding matches in Ashes series from England's overseas tours.stevie said:Sorry Jim, missed this post.
With the overseas tours, whilst ofcourse it would be great if that were on Free TV, I give full credit to Sky. They've been showing overseas series for as long as I can remember and I don't mind so much to be honest. But to take home series away from the viewers is proposterous.
