After 80 overs the score is now 250/8. The wicket of H.Streak is going to have to be taken soon

The best bowler for Kent so far has been the spinner R.Ferley

There is an appeal for an LBW for H.Streak of the bowling of R.Joseph

Cricket20052007-01-2718-04-56-60.jpg

It is too close to call and is turned down by the umpires. H.Streak won't be leaving many more on that line

H.Streak's run-rate begins to increase as he hits more boundaries

Kent will want to get the tail out before the end of the day

At the end of Day 2 H.Streak and N.Carter are still there, and still scoring runs. the score is now 272/8

As the Kent team walk off, D.Fulton will have been pleased with his bolwers performance, but annoyed they could not get rid of the tail before the end of the day. They should get rid of them quickly tomorrow morning

R.Ferley has been the best bowler, and will be looking to pick up five wickets

First ball of the day, first boundary of the day.

This boundary brings up the 50 partnership

H.Streak has been the main contributor

H.Streak reaches his half-century. There will be a bit of doubt creaping into D.Fulton's mind. The worrying thing is, that N.Carter hasn't been dismissed, but he has been obviously told to leave everything or just play a defensive shot (Both boundaries came from edges)

H.Streak smashes R.Ferley for 3 sixes in a row by advancing down the wicket

After 90 overs the score is 299/8, still. Strangely the new ball has not been offered by the umpires. There are already rumours of Kent County Cricket Club wanting an investigation carried out on the umpires shocking mistakes in this match.

R.Ferley's figures are being wrecked by H.Streak. Who can get these last two wickets. A heavily defensive field is being set by D.Fulton for when H.Streak is facing

Cricket20052007-01-2718-26-06-57.jpg

And still more boundaries come

Cricket20052007-01-2718-29-45-64.jpg

Eventually the 100 partnership between these two arrives, with H.Streak nearing his century. This match looks like it is heading towards a draw now

(I told you I should be embarresed)

H.Streak reaches his century and looks extremely pleased and so he should. It has been a great innings

Finally the innings of H.Streak comes to an end. R.Ferley picks up his fifth wicket when he bowls one around the legs of H.Streak

Last man D.Pretorious emerges from the pavillion

Cricket20052007-01-2818-51-43-73.jpg

After 100 overs the score is now 384/9.

R.Ferley's pristine figures have taken a bashing at the hands of H.Streak, however five wickets is still good bowling. S.Cook has bowled well as well

Cricket20052007-01-2818-54-51-93.jpg

Finally M.Saggers gets a wicket when he bowls out N.Carter after a good knock for 39 runs

How H.Streak got a century I will never know. I was bowling the same line I had used but he got so many breaks. That LBW could have been given out, he edged 4 times, and 3 times he was dropped at deep square leg. Also his six's were massive generally going out of the ground.

405 all out. D.Fulton never expected that at tea on Day 2

H.Streak was hitting the ball everywhere!

Cricket20052007-01-2819-02-57-39.jpg

The ninth wicket partnership was massive. Not what you would expect to see after such a good bowling performance up to there.

So Kent's opening batsmen stride out, looking to salvage something. There are a tricky couple of overs they have to face before lunch

M.walker gets of the mark with a well struck four

Kent make it to lunch without losing a wicket

Good tight bowling from the Warwickshire opening bowlers.
