M.van Jaarsveld falls while attempting to hit over mid-on

A change in the batting order as G.Jones emerges at no.5. Clearly this is a message to the Warwickshire bowlers, that Kent intend to up the scoring rate

The great innings of D.Fulton come to an end. What an innings this has been. I am sure this will not be forgotten by the Kent fans for some time

A.hall is the new batsman. Another Kent batsman who has been short of form recently.

A.Hall's poor form continues as he is dismissed for 18, after edging one of the bowling of H.Streak

D.Stevens is the new batsman, hoping to improve on his first innings tally

Kent declare on 401/5 after 50 overs, leaving the Warwickshire openers a tricky hour they will have to face

H.Streak and D.Pretorious were expensive but got a few wickets. N.Carter struggled with his line and kept on drifting onto the right handers legs. As for I.Bell, words can not sum up his poor bowling performance

D.Fulton was smashing balls over the ground

The first wicket partnership was massive. A very positive point for kent to look at, at the post match analysis session

With only 1 over left in the day R.Ferley is given the ball

He can't find the breakthrough though. So at the end of Day 3 the score is 25/1

The Kent bowlers will be pleased that they got an early wicket

R.Ferley gets the breakthrough in the second over of Day 4 when he gets the wicket of the dangerous I.Bell

The ball bounced of I.Bell's pad and R.Joseph pounced on it

J.Trott is the new batsman

M.Saggers gets his second wicket

M.wagh attempting to pull got a top edge, and M.Walker running from first slip took the catch

M.Powell is the new batsman. If Warwicksire lose him or J.Trott they could be in big trouble, unless of course H.Streak is planning on another century

These two build up the partnership slowly, but are doing the job well

After 19 overs the score is 46/3. A very slow run-rate but Warwickshire will be happy with a draw in present circumstances.

Good bowling by the Kent bowlers has really restricted the amount of runs Warwickshire could score, plus they have got valuable wickets

I have also got to add that I have been chosen for my school's 1stXI. I am so pleased I now start pre-season training. Don't look forward to facing deliveries of a Scotland U18 opening bowler though
