Luckily Price took the last wicket of the match. It made sure I went on top. Best captain to have is Chigumbura though.

I actually did some research behind the players, before I selected my team. So far it has worked. I was actually thinking that almost nobody would select some players, which I had in mind, like Thomas Odoyo who happened to be once Associate Player of the Year: Cricinfo - Odoyo named as ICC Associate Player of the Year So far he hasn't performed, but I am expecting some points from him.

I put too much faith in the Kenya players. I don't have Masakadza, Sibanda and Matsikenyeri and that's going to affect me for sure. Chigumbura have been scoring again with a strikerate above 200, Waller took a duck this time and Odoyo is underperforming. Take that together and I don't I still will be on top after the next update.

Update after the 2nd ODI: Cricinfo - 2nd ODI: Kenya v Zimbabwe at Mombasa, Jan 29, 2009

It's pretty annoying all this things happening. Thomas Odoyo was injured during the match after two overs and didn't play anymore leaving me with -24 points. Taibu didn't play for some reason in these two matches and now Sean Williams didn't play as well. Rainsford didn't play as well. And on top of that Waters got a nice duck. So 8 players from my team played and only 6 players got positive points.

lol my bad! well no, not my bad. that guy IS crazy! he bowled with different action vs Ash. then decided to take no run up and bowled from the line. then was sledging like crazy!

i guess he is day dreaming about those "good ol' days" and not doing well atm
