Always been a Underdogs coming into IPL but have always performed very high above everyone exception. Not many big names but they have big talent which is their reason of success in previous Season.

Performed very high? When was that? KXIP have always performed poorly or below average in every season. Last season was their best effort, but still it was a very below average effort in the end.

Hope Gilly can revitalise KXIP this season and make them at least reach the semis.

Reached semi finals in S1
Even though we were at bottom in S3 yet we defeated all Semi finalist and make the life difficult for others to reach Semis with consecutive wins in the end.

Punjab have had well known guys like Yuvraj, Sangakkara, Sreesanth, Irfan Pathan, Ravi Bopara, etc. Season 1 was their best in terms of the place they achieved, but still their performance was well below average. Their performances on the field have mostly looked mediocre or downright pathetic (this was in Season 3).

Punjab have had well known guys like Yuvraj, Sangakkara, Sreesanth, Irfan Pathan, Ravi Bopara, etc. Season 1 was their best in terms of the place they achieved, but still their performance was well below average. Their performances on the field have mostly looked mediocre or downright pathetic (this was in Season 3).

S3 was a disspointed one agreed. But S4 shows more than it tells on scorecard. If you look into results, they needed to win their last 6 or some consecutive matches to make a outside chance chance to Semis and they did manged to win 5 but lost the last one. So they did a great comeback and they didn't even had bigger names excepting Gilchrist and Dussey. Expecting a same kind of performance or better this season.
