Are they short of batting or what? They have 8 great overseas players, but who to leave out? Apart from Gambhir, the batting is all overseas or no-names. Unless I'm missing something, they will have to leave out Morgan, Haddin, al Hasan and ten Doeschate (this is assuming they want to play in-form Narine and Lee). That leaves just 8 batsmen including all the keepers and all-rounders - and Shukla and Bhatia aren't much good are they?

Came up with a possible XI, but it's too silly to post.

Is there any chance of them getting more last-minute batting?

I agree to the post above. They have very good overseas player but they still lack some good Indian players.

Decided I had to leave one of Lee and Narine out for a batsman.

Edit: Looking at that now, you could afford to have one less batsman and Lee at 8, but it would surely be Bisla or Shukla that you'd leave out.

You have to leave three of them out before you can play any overseas pure bowlers (Lee/Pattinson/Narine/de Lange) at all!

I just saw how rubbish Lee is at IPL. I think maybe move him to the coaching staff. I'll have Narine in my lineup instead. I'd love to pick Narine AND de Lange (or even Pattinson occasionally), but my number eight (Shukla) is already bad enough.

Whatever the final XI be, I wish KKR BEST OF LUCK & hope that they win IPL-5.

Was reading an article over here which says that this season KKR is planning on having cheerleaders in saris dancing to local songs...dont know whether foreign girls in saris will dance to local songs or Indian girls in saris....

If KKR has Lee just for his pace, then they can definatley replace him with Marchant de lange. Lee has been ???????? in IPL plus Merchant de Lange can bowl faster then him right now. The only thing that favors lee is that he has experience of playing in India which Marchant de lange doesn't.
