Once again, 6/10 in the top 10 are left armers. 4/5 in the top 5 are left armers.

I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence. It probably is. But it's a pretty interesting coincidence.

To me, left handed batsmen in particular just seem more dominating and powerful (maybe it's psychological). Maybe this helps them in Twenty20 cricket? I don't know. I just thought it was interesting.

Yup,I too have heard left armers are more classier and have a pretty easy but elegant technique.But dont know how much it is true.

What I've observed till now..is that Lefties are great Sloggers

I think it's just that we've seen some quality left handers during the late 90s and post 2000 and IPL just happnes to be the sort of tournament where all are present.

It's not just in cricket as well. I've tend to notice that football players seem to be more powerful on their left foot as well
