Try changing the compatibility modes for u r game...for example check with win98 and try ,,,i got same error when i started the game,,,i we changed the compatibility to win98 ,,,so its working fine for me...check urs too ...Hope it works

Right click on the Configuration.exe file, choose properties. Then select the Compatibility tab and change the "Run this Program in Compatibility Mode For:" to Windows 98. Do the same thing for the Cricket.exe (and Demo Expander.exe too if you have it).

If this dont work try out Windows NT, or the various other options

Yes if you have Windows 98 and not Windows 98SE the game wont work.

i had the problem too. if you still have the demo installed, uninstall it...
