Good point and quite right , fact is dissapperance of Madeline Mccann has been telecast on TV and on other places . So we all know that a four year old girl has been kidnapped . While in other cases we dont even get know if any child has been kidnapped and all . I just hope she is fine and soon back home safely :upray

Oh gosh. Another "Help Madeleine" thing. I'm getting tired of this now. When I come to Planetcricket, this is the last thing I want to see. Talk about hype, this is ridiculous. I've looked in my wardrobe, and under my bed. She isn't there. That's all I can do.

Quite right Adarsh. There is nothing I can do and a sig isn't going to bring her back is it? I'm actually quite offended that someone has made a sig on such a delicate issue to gain a bit of publicity.

@Andrew - agreed mate - although to be fair most of them are not three (recently turend four) years of age. The media hype is silly, they are only doing it because it is an unprecidented case in a foreign country.

I'd rather not be part of a campaign becuase a tragedy is based upon the neglectful and appauling parenting of two people that are now getting a lot of sympathy and a lot of media attention for screwing up.

I do feel bad for her and her parents i hope she returns back home safely.. but as Andrew stated there are many people being kidnapped and why aren't they given as much attention?

Maybe because David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo appealed and it came all over the TV. If Becks and C.Ronaldo start appealing for every child being kidnapped I think they will stop their career as a sportsman and start an appealing center..

It is not falsely accusing, it is true, they did neglect their chlidren and deserve not much sympathy.

too right. If you leave your kids on their own in a hotel room and go off for dinner, then I'm sorry, but this whole thing is ridiculous.

Do you read any newspapers at all? They left a 3 year old child in a hotel room without parental supervision just so they could go out on the piss. That's neglect sunshine.

I just think this is an 'over-hyped' topic, there are plenty of children missing and the parents didnt **** up in some of thse cases, say what you like, it was the parent's own stupid fault.
