IF (and thats a big if by the way), they did kill her, I think it would have been accidental, and they then tried to cover it up. Thats unlike Shipman. They were very, very wrong to leave a 4 year old with her siblings on her own. That is horrendous parenting to be honest.

Personally, I'm not sure what to believe, there was always a quiet and perhaps a darker side in the wife. Although, I don't think anyone can say that they are guility or not guility without seeing the evidence that the Portuguese police have.

The DNA in the back of the car does not actually have to be from her body directly by the way, it could be from a cuddly toy of hers etc.

Well my personal view is that they are innocent, and that the portugese police are just finding a way to close the case and end it all. I can't see they are guilty at all.

That's actually a good point. Most of the accidental deaths involving children in which the parents are responsible happen when the parents unknowingly lash out at the child physically in a fit of anger. The McCanns are doctors and as such, they would be aware of what that would do to a little child.

I don't know what to think anymore whether they are guilty or not. If they are guilty it will be very sad, that they abused the generosity of the British public for money.

highlander, you mean the whole world? If they are found guilty they should be tried for fraud.

Well it prooves that pretty ordinary people, and ordinary parents can do such terrible things. But they won't be found guilty anyway.

Yeah, I meant Manslaughter, it did come into my head, but I typed murder.

If they are guility, their lives probably wouldn't be worth living for the bad press they'd get. They'd be up for Murder/Manslaughter and Fraud.

Well the Portuguese police have confirmed them as official suspects. Views are differing really on whether they did it.

You gotta remember that hasn't been confirmed all it said was bodily fluid and some say it was hair conflicting stories so take everything with a pinch of salt unless it's confirmed by the police.

I think the Police are idiots. They should be out there finding the body, not harrasing the family who are in enough grief anyway.
