Akmal - unable to play sweep

RAzzaq- Super slogger. Can also pace his game.
For weakness, all slooger suffer from same one.i.e tendency to fall to slow balls, yorkers, getting caught.

Well, honestly, the strengths and weaknesses and misc. info colours were just to brighten it up...and make sense.

So dont dwell too much on it...

Thanks

Manee

Actually, strength weakness are two sides of same coin.
Little foot movement surly means he is less suspectiple to slow balls, and on his day can be devastating, just like sehwag.

More foot movement generally translates into better position while playing a shot.but if playing the wrong line, it generally tends to results in lbw's.

Could LM please tell me, if what batsman abilities are going to be used so that this thread can be more effective.

And the same for bowling, because this thread will contain bowlers abilities after the batsman are done

Just to finish up the Aussies...

Martyn- very elegant, very strong off the back foot, great cutter of the ball, sometimes gives his wicket away early

Katich- Shuffles across from leg stump, glances the ball off his pads well, can bat with the tail, doesn't convert his starts, very slow off the mark

I'll try and find some more on the other teams.

prince is also a very quick runner steals singles and turns 1s into 2s

A few Sri-Lankan's, You might need a bit more info on some of them

Sangakkara - Brilliant driver and cutter of the ball, Very agressive, good cricket brain, has a tendancy to hit the ball in the air, decent keeper

Jayawardene - very good technique, excellent temperament, has random run droughts, struggles to remain in form but is very dangerous when playing well

Samaraweera - useful off-spinner but is rarely used, specialist test batsmen, takes a no risk approach to his batting, good technique, slow starter

Dilshan - Quick footwork, very wristy player, has a tendancy to fish outside off, quite agressive, useful part time bowler (off spin)

Atapattu - vulnerable starter, nudges at the ball early in his innings, very dangerous once his eye is in, good technique when his eye is in, great cover drive

De Villiers - Great timer of the cricket ball. Excellent fielder.

Rudolph - Can be very defensive when needed.

Pollock - Can hit out well, Very accurate in bowling.

Dwayne Smith - Hits great sixes.

Tharanga - Good timer and a great cutter of the cricket ball.

Hameed - Edges to slip often during the start of his innings.

S.Butt - Great cover drive player. Edges his cover-drive often when there is extra swing or seam movement.

Hope this info helps. :)
