What shall I do next?

I think we should also start bat info after all this, such as their sweet spot, weight, etc. :)
 
I dont think it is going that slow...I mean lm hasnt started bowling and fielding animations so stat editing hasnt started
but I agree about three bats man at a time

I think we should use stats like averages and S/R to determine the in-game stats.

So e.g. Average * 1.65

So Trescothick's ODI would be 6/10, and his Test would be 7.5/10, rounded up or down, and if it is close to half then do it for .5

And if it is over 100 give him a perfect 10.

Use the S/R as a guide for the Attack column, just do nothing with it so Trescothick would be 8.5/10

OK...good idea...would you or someone else mind starting a thread wid all dis stuff u sed in it...and Ill stick to batsman (and later) bowlers traits and u can do ur system...cos Im gonna reduce the time im on planetcricket cos its not good to be on the comp 24/7.

I think a rating out of 100 would be much more accurate. Also having more categories like front foot, back foot etc. It may sound too much but that's what's required. Most cricket games do this. Just a suggestion.
 
Sorry how can anyone rate Vaughans Odi batting higher than his test batting? He is for all intents and purposes a specialist test batsman.

Anyway I think it's a nice idea to try and help Lm, but all in all a little pointless unless you know what stats he is including and what sort of criteria are being used to govern players characteristics. Until we know that, I think we're just wasting our time.

Look on page one...there are batsmans traits there...and they go into meaningless detail...these stats are just for that not covered, by the stuff on page one...

Please try and rate both at a time...

sorry if u think im advising u or correcting u or something mannee. But can't we have like each country section and we get like 2 members in each section to opinion the stats of those players. Then when that section is done, we will giv it to u and then if u feel that the stats need editing, u can discuss it. Basically it would make the whole process a bit faster :)
