The Coin Toss

Waugh: G'afternoon, I'm Steven Waugh, welcoming you to the Mid-Summer Showdown between Australia and England. I've the two captains, Andrew Flintoff and Ricky Ponting of Australia here, to conduct the coin toss. Ricky, as the visiting captain, you can call.

Ponting: Tails!

Referee: It's a head!

Waugh: What will you choose Andrew?

Flintoff: We'll have a bowl please Steve, it looks like a pitch and a night which'll be good for chasing, so we'll try to make use of the conditions.

Steve Harmison will be bowling the first ball of the night...

Code:
0.1 SJ Harmison to AC Gilchrist, no run, outside off, slightly full, aims to beat the infielders, gets a good clean strike

Looks like a promising story Jamee. Heaps of potential and good luck with it.

Funny that Stevie Harmison 'will' be bowling the first ball of the night although he has already bowled it. ;)

Very strange indeed Duffman...

Good luck with this, so far so good...

I hope this referee doesn't hand out three yellow cards to one player...

Culli. That was heaps funny.

Good luck with your story Jamee. Oh and a tip. Keep away from the yellow writing. It's impossible to read.

I hope you realise that there is nothing wrong with that terminology, it is indeed the match referee that oversees the toss at every match.

Did you not see the joke I was making? Graheme Poll gave out three yellow cards in a World Cup match, that was the reference I was making! Don't be so quick to criticise me next time!
