Moores hints at Vaughan comeback. England coach Peter Moores has hinted former captain Michael Vaughan could be recalled for February's series against the West Indies. England will name the squad on 29 December and Vaughan is being linked despite not playing international cricket since stepping down in August.

If Vaughan was in form I'd throw him straight back in there as he'd be a great help to KP but he's helplessly out of form and wouldn't offer half what Shah could atm

Throw Bell out of the team, He sucks at No.3 and hasn't scored many runs. Vaughan should replace him, if he comes back.

If I was Owais Shah right now, I would just be a tad confused and down right depressed.

As bad as Australia are going, there is no way we'll lose the Ashes if England keep recycling the same deadwood they have been. Bell, Vaughan, Collingwood, even Cook, have all been hovering around 35-40 at best over the last few years. Cook is young, but the other 3 have no excuses for being continuously picked. Then you have Stuart Broad who seems to be an ODI specialist opening the bowling.

5-0.

I'd beat the crap out of Moores if I was Owais Shah. I'd then smash a 200 in an OD game and a ballistic 300 in a FC game before retiring and leaving to play in the ICL or IPL, whichever gives me more cash, all the while giving the England selectors the finger.

I would have love to see him coming with his mates the last series at least there would have been some Entertainment and close match :)

What's he done to get back into the team? He's a good player, but he has to show this through form. How he gets ahead of Shah or Bopara is dumbfounding.

I think Vaughn should come back, as should Shah and Bopara.

Drop Cook, Bell, and Collingwood, get in Vaughn, Shah and Bopara.

Also Key should somehow be fit in.

I wouldn't drop Cook. He hasn't done too badly and he is still young. I would definetly drop Bell for Shah though. Collingwood is a trickier issue. I really do not know. He is a scraper and knowing him, will always make a crucial knock when needed, but he has just been too inconsistent. I would probs go with him for the West Indies series and if he fails, replace him with Bopara. I would also go with Key ahead of Vaughan, Vaughan is past it.

Michael Vaughan Is the most suitable candidate for England's captaincy.
