This game is gonna rock the NFS series. I have checked out the trailer and the game looks awesom.

Cant wait for this one. Here is the information about the game.

About The Game:

Need for Speed: ProStreet will take the Need for Speed series in a totally new direction. Instead of an arcade style of gameplay which has dominated the series, ProStreet will move closer to racing simulation. Unlike its predecessors, all racing in ProStreet will take place on closed tracks, thus making it the first game in the series not animating illegal racing behaviour. In the same spirit of realism, performance tuning will take up a large part of gameplay. For example, even the smallest adjustment of the shape of a car's body will impact its performance. Autosculpt is back from Carbon, but with much greater detail. According to a EA worker, there will be thousands of aftermarket upgrades, visual and performance, from real performance brands.

ProStreet will feature very advanced graphics close to photo-realistic, and advanced physics. The damage system, making a return to the series, is of very high detail. A collision with any object in the game world may render a car useless, or damaged. Offical release date for the american market is set to October 31, 2007, release for other markets is in November, probably not more then a few days after the american release.

Features:

Photo Realism: Need for Speed ProStreet boasts impeccable precision and impressively detailed photo-realistic graphics, effectively transporting you to the centre of the action.

Autosculpt™: Need for Speed ProStreet pushes the “Autosculpt™” technology to a new level, allowing you to directly impact your car’s performance for the first time as well as personalize its appearance.

Damage Matters: Need for Speed ProStreet is a true taste of raw adrenaline and racing with consequences. Every dent, every scratch and every crumpled body panel is a battle scar, proof of your commitment and competitive mettle.

Extreme Competition: With an aggressive and skilled AI system, you become immersed in an unmatched believable race experience. Add in a revolutionary online mode that will redefine the meaning of competitive social play, and Need for Speed ProStreet is the ultimate formula for an emotionally charged street racing showdown.

Asia Pacific Glamour: Need for Speed ProStreet includes beautiful in-game flag girls, played by popular celebrities from the Asia Pacific region. The only two girls to be featured in the game this year, Krystal Forscutt, a reality TV star and glamour girl from Australia, and Sayoko Ohashi, an up-and-coming personality from Japan, make their appearances throughout the game to add colour to the authentic world of street racing.

Or your lack of skill... ill buy this game im still playing NFS Underground 2 lol what was the previous game

I am getting this one, looks very good. Loved Carbon by the way, finished the career mode 3 times.

I have had Underground 2 and Most Wanted.. gettin Carbon soon just to see whats its like.. i dint like Most Wanted much becaose of the boring daylight gameplay but i am still rinsing on U2 as its an awesome game...

I thing NFS Underground 1 and NFS Carbon are good games, the other 2 are useless titles.

I liked the Underground 2 over Most wanted till carbon came up. The car physics of carbon are lovable. And now prostreet............... The car damage seems interesting, and its more burnout and crashday style.

If you have compatible PC you must have NFS: Most Wanted it is awesome I bet your money will not go waste and u will fell in love with most wanted. Its brilliant

I have NFS: MW as well as NFS: Carbon.

Both are different games.

No matter what version, NFS games are always fun to play.

IMO, NFS is the most/best developed and evolved game out of the entire EA roster.

I have NFS most wanted. Good game, the 'cops' bit just annoys me though, i just want to race. May have to check out carbon, seem to have missed that one.

I don't really like this new idea with removing the underground illegal races and everything and making it now a normal race game.. I find these racing games on track pretty boring.

U never know what they might come up with. They know that they cant take a step backward if they dont have the power to take one foward as well.
