This is the latest MoD in the CoolGamePlay. Now it is totally re-modelled and carefully made to avoid the errors happened in the last version and it also employ your feedbacks on the previous version. It also tested for many hours of gameplay!.

What this Patch Contains?
-------------------------
This patch contains:
* set of confiuration files for AI innings pacing for both forms of the game, various pitch conditions, difficulty modes(easy, normal, hard)
* Completely re-modelled shot selection stroke files for both ODIs as well as Test Matches.
* Suitable set of Field positioning for the game!
What it will improve?
---------------------
This patch will improve a lot of think from the previous versions:
* Now the CPU batsmen will select their shots appropriately!, it select the length to hit a shot correctly, defend or even leave!
* When u (or CPU) bat, the timing is very important. If u mistimed it, will cost your wicket. If play it late the ball go in more finer behind wicket, if play it too early the ball go in front of the wicket. But if u only timed it correctly the shot will go in appropriate direction.
* Latecut is not so convincing, So it will be replaced by conventional sweep and the conventional sweep is repalced by reverse sweep.
* CPU pace the innings accordingly when it plays Test or ODIs. Now it plays aggressively in the first pace and last pace and play correctly(taking singles and play aerial shot a few times) in the middle overs. Not slogging all time!. Hopefully blending defensive with aggressiveness. In 10, 20, 50 Overs game CPU will match with u either it bat first or second. It'll go for the win!. U have to really put u'r brain to stop the monkey!. CPU won't go for mad in depth or in pressure situation, it cope up with that!. They even counter attack on occasions ;->.They last all their limited quota of overs. In test match hopefully the game will last upto 5th day!. (The think is u don't get this result if u AUTOPLAY, it still score over 6-7 runs and the whole match ends with in 6-8 sessions in test matches and in ODIs it still getout within 50 overs many time. So never use Autoplay!, if u don't have time then atleast paly 10/20 overs match fully!. Still I don't know how to modify the AutoPlay pacing)
* It is hard to get the CPU batsmen out unless u bowl a peach!, CPU is very smart and don't fooled by you.
* Yorker play is improved!, not sweep the yorker, it plays the leg-glance with 95% success rate!. Occasionally it got out LBW.
* Various pitch parameters modified!
* The Fast bowlers bowls in the range of 150 Km/h. The Medium-Fast Bowlers bowls in the range of (135-145) Km/h with occasional not so Slow delivery. Fast bowlers will bowl a slow off/leg cutter. The swing bowlers bowls in the range of 130 Km/h. The Spinners bowls in the region of 90 Km/h with occasional googly(LS) or a Straighter(Dooshra) one(OS).(But unfortunately this pace will not come into play when u guys Bowl, but u can get the spin, movement, bounce, swing that CPU gets, Thanks God!)
* Seam movement, bounce of the pitch, Swing, Spin, Variation in the pace are differ from pitch to pitch(Damp,Green,Normal,Hard,Dusty).
* Always slogging is not possible now for u!, the CPU will vary the bowling,fielding to get the result!
* Test playing conditions are more difficult than ODIs.

* Different power level for shots in both form of the game as modern ODI's went hara-giri and Test, hmmm., Hard to hit runs.
* Out-field(turf) parameters changed. The ball reaches the boundary before fielder blinks in DUSTY type pitches and the speed is gradually decreased in other pitches. It's very hard to get the boundary in DAMP/GREEN. Well timed shots may fetch u 4 runs in NORMAL mode. In HARD mode It's batsmen Paradise. Once the ball hit the outfield it 90% reach the boundary when we are in the fielding restriction time!.
* The "bumpiness-effect" of the outfield has been emphasized on all pitches with slight variations
* The field settings been edited to modern trend as well as the ability of the CPU. As the ball even go anywhere, there is players to stop that in all directions like third man, deep fine leg. Accurate field positioning is the name of the game!. Different sets of field positionings for different versions of the Game!.
Installation:
------------
Just Extract the cgpv2.zip into your Cricket'2002 directory and overwrite everything it prompts!. Cricket 2002 directory usually be found at :\EA SPORTS\CRICKET2002\.
If U have to manually modify few things to install. Unzip the "configs" folder to the Main directory :\EA SPORTS\CRICKET2002\. Unzip data folder into :\EA SPORTS\CRICKET2002\data\ which overwrites "Editor" folder(field Setting), and two new folders created "ODI_saf", "TEST_saf" inside :\EA SPORTS\CRICKET2002\data\captures\batsman\shots
Important information:
---------------------
* If u like to play ODI match, World Series, Knockout tournament, WORLD CUP, Shajah Series, just rename "ODI_saf" into "saf" and copy it to :\EA SPORTS\CRICKET2002\data\captures\batsman\shots or overwrite existing files!.
* Say if u like to play TEST SERIES or TEST MATCH just rename "TEST_saf" into "saf" and copy it into :\EA SPORTS\CRICKET2002\data\captures\batsman\shots or overwrite existing files.
* Now in this version includes different difficulty modes like EASY, NORMAL, HARD. Change the option according to your needs in game Main menu/Options/Game/. If u a new-bie, try out EASY mode. If u find it a bit easy now do it in "NORMAL" mode. If u are a pro/die-hard player fired it up in HARD mode.
* It is very important that using this patch with other set of files may cause the total messing up of gameplay. So use this patch alone(i.e batsman stroke files, Field settings, Configs) for the perfect results.

Backing up u'r old files/folders in another location of u'r PC is a must before u copy this files. Just copy the old folders "configs" exists in main directory and "Editor" in Data Directory and "batsman" in data\captures\ directory into some other place say like "My documents" folder incase if u don't like the CoolGamePlayPatch Version:2(will U?), and if u done some wrong thingy and ending in messing up with u'r game. It'll be pretty useful!. It's always a wise Guy's Think!.
You know one thing, i'll not take any responsibility if this patch ruins u'r GAME, PC or even u'r SLEEP :-}, I'll not mind anything at all!. I only welcome the opinions to improve this patch or any mistakes it may have. Consider this as a BETA patch and i welcome all of u to make it even BiG Patch.
You just grab this file in u'r hand as a "FREEFREEWARE" and u may distribute it freely and don't change the integrity of the patch and don't modify it in anyway to ruin my hard work!. I'm sure it'll definitely be an improvement on EA's shabby work for Cricket 2002. If you dont like it just delete it and you're back to scratch.
