There is thousands and thousans off teams? How do you expect to look at every transfer?
Haven't you seen transfers before? You have a player, list him up, and peopel all over bid. If a guy is way too overpriced (Like 5 mill for a worthless all over), and is sold, people can report it and it will be rectified. It doesn't happen often, no one has 5 mill to begin with.
Sounds like a load of bull.
You haven't seen it work. The game has lots of hidden stats - how they play in different positions, favourite bowler types, favourite pitchesm and many more. If they are older and played longer, not only is their experience higher, but they tend to be better allround. Also training works well. Each week is a RL week. So 18 weeks a season. For a 17 YO to increase in a skill with 2 nets, it takes 7 weeks. So it works well. Older ones (By now) have already been trained when young, so they are better.
Also in the Youth Academy, you can promote ages 17-20, and give them net sessions just before promoting to add on to their natural talent. 20YOs can get more net sessions, so tend to be better to fit directly in a team than a youngster. Fitness also takes a toll while training, so younger ones might no be fit to play a lot if they are being heavily trained.
Why would you want to have that? Wait around all day looking at commentry?
Trust me, it is very enjoyable. And you don't need to watch it, could always check the scorecard next day. But the commentary is a lot of fun, watching the match unfold in front of you, fantastic knocks, match winning spells, thrillers. Just like watching Cricinfo. And users can add their own lines too.
First Class Games. 3-day games, with 4 innings, you know.
And this is the level below Domestic cricket.
Not in as much detail as BT.
Battrick isn't hardcore. It is more fun. It is a game, News Announcments are funny, commentary is funny, names are funny. Lots of fun really. It isn't realistic as such, just a lot more detailed and gives you a lot more options on how to run your team.
You also have a abnk balance, and sponsors and members, etc.
