New Cricket manager game!! try it out guys

Really? Does that matter more than skill? That's kinda silly, why buy new players then?

No, no, no. SWT does not matter in terms of the actual game engine. Newer player stats will increase at a high rate. When a players reaches 7 SWT he sometimes decreases in stats the moment he hits 7 SWT, sometimes it takes him to about 10 SWT before he starts to decrease.

Tell me what it says when you try and log into the forum, and I will try and get it fixed for you.

Ah. So regardless of age, the newer the player, the quicker there stats increase? Regardless if they are 15 or 45?
That's dumb.
You should try BT.

Try changing your password.

Do it by going to club house>team details>change details.

Still think this game is silly. How can younger players improve slower than older ones? And why can't you get cash for selling players?
Battrick is still loads better...

Ok.

Having age would be silly wouldn't it? I mean no-one would buy older players. So they intorduce swt so every team starts on a level playing field. I mean it's easy to understand? And people generally do improve quicket if they are younger. e.g Mitchell Johnson will improve quicker than McGrath.

You can't sell players, as then people will set up multiple accounts and use that to their advantae e.g sell a rubbish player to another account you don't care about for good money.

Any more questions, because boy I can answer them!

Look at BT. Selling players works perfectly fine. Any suspicious transfers, the mods check it out, and if the team is infact cheating, the IP Address is banned.
And Age works perfect on BT too. Young ones improve quicker in batting and bowling, old ones in concentration and consistency. You have a youth academy, which mainly produces rubbish but does get the odd gem, where to get young players from. Older ones tend to have more experience, so it helps having them, and are more well rounded than young ones as their secondaries increase faster.

Also in BT-
Train Individual Players
Live ball-by-ball commentary
FC Games
Team Grounds, from where you earn bulk of your cash trhough gate reciepts at home games. You can expand them too.
Better stats, and more depth in pitch type, bowler type, batting/bowling style, captaincy, experience, weather, etc. Everything has an effect.
Better stats recording
Coutries and NT teams
And much much more...

EDIT: Click my sig to go to the PC Battrick Sub-forum.

battrick is aimed for hard core cricket fans and cricketmanager is more light hearted version, so don't compare them because they are two very different games!

There is thousands and thousans off teams? How do you expect to look at every transfer?

CM is village cricket.

CM does that.

Haven't you seen transfers before? You have a player, list him up, and peopel all over bid. If a guy is way too overpriced (Like 5 mill for a worthless all over), and is sold, people can report it and it will be rectified. It doesn't happen often, no one has 5 mill to begin with.

Sounds like a load of bull.
You haven't seen it work. The game has lots of hidden stats - how they play in different positions, favourite bowler types, favourite pitchesm and many more. If they are older and played longer, not only is their experience higher, but they tend to be better allround. Also training works well. Each week is a RL week. So 18 weeks a season. For a 17 YO to increase in a skill with 2 nets, it takes 7 weeks. So it works well. Older ones (By now) have already been trained when young, so they are better.
Also in the Youth Academy, you can promote ages 17-20, and give them net sessions just before promoting to add on to their natural talent. 20YOs can get more net sessions, so tend to be better to fit directly in a team than a youngster. Fitness also takes a toll while training, so younger ones might no be fit to play a lot if they are being heavily trained.

Trust me, it is very enjoyable. And you don't need to watch it, could always check the scorecard next day. But the commentary is a lot of fun, watching the match unfold in front of you, fantastic knocks, match winning spells, thrillers. Just like watching Cricinfo. And users can add their own lines too.
errm ok what is that?
First Class Games. 3-day games, with 4 innings, you know.
CM is village cricket.
And this is the level below Domestic cricket.
CM does that.
Not in as much detail as BT.

Battrick isn't hardcore. It is more fun. It is a game, News Announcments are funny, commentary is funny, names are funny. Lots of fun really. It isn't realistic as such, just a lot more detailed and gives you a lot more options on how to run your team.

You also have a abnk balance, and sponsors and members, etc.

CM has hidden attributes too. We don't deal in real money, we deal in credits.

CM is good because of OOT's. These are leagues run by managers who take time to update results, tables ect. And you play against other good teams, who are run by excellent managers.

How many matches do you have per day?
