2003 was the best. This kit isn't bad but will not look great for indian players(unlike Eng). Also tradition of sky blue has been ruled out, overall the kit looks nice for D/N matches and not D matches.
Also the current kit(sky blue) will serve as the alternate one.

So this one:

will be used in india and this one

will be used on tour.

I like the new one, looks much more bold. India have worn dark blue before, during the 1992 world cup and during the mid nineties

Really? I never knew. Standard.

So at least we will see the Sky Blue kit when we play at home.

From what I rad in News papers today was that. They'll use the old kit as a backup one. They will wear that when they play matches against teams like Srilanka,England and others which have similar colours in their kit.I read this in Express.Think its reliable.

New kit is standard and unlike other teams we will have Sky Blue kit when it clashes with other team.

Why do we wear blue? I mean we're like Italy in Football, They wear blue too even though there isn't a hint of blue in their flag. The only things I can think are; We would look like clowns in green and orange so someone decided blue would be an ideal colour, Or the Chakra in the middle of the flag is navy and they used that for the kit instead of orange and green.

well actually every international team are given some primary colours......

the kits can revolve around those only.....

India has got blue and yellow as official ones.......

Thanks for the link, Lee. I think I might wait until it's up on Cricshop so I can put my name and #7 on the back.

Thanks for that. I'm so lazy when it comes to searching.

Wow. I never knew they actually sold all this stuff. I'm nagging my mom to buy me the shorts and cap as we speak.
