I would be surprised if NZ can challenge us even if India is without Kohli (1st Test), Bumrah, Rohit and Pant. I mean I don't expect one sided contests but India should be able to handle themselves for the larger parts of a match. The trio of Ashwin, Jadeja, Axar is sure to send down chills down the spine.

I'm looking forward to it since NZ are likely to pack their team with spinners as well, and we are known to be vulnerable in that department. Of what I have heard, Ajaz Patel seems to be a promising prospect.

I don't think given the surfaces over here Wagner does possess any threat to India. Plus the heat that is going to soak up his energy. I am of the view that bowling that length requires of lot of energy. Watch out for Ajaz Patel, Will Somerville & Mitch Santner.

Surprising non-selection of Mitch Santner there. He has troubled the Indian line-up on a fair number of ocassions, very surprised they didn't consider him for the Test.

Gill has been really destructive against spinners. Certainly have shown something Indian batsman have lacked over the last few years.
