Just to let ya people know that Somerville dropped for Newzeland Sri Lanka series. I think he was just selected against Pakistan for the role of debutant. The purpose served and he got dropped

Ummm I think it's more to do with the fact that no team in history has ever needed 2 specialist spinners on NZ tracks? (And to be fair he only made his debut cos Sodhi was rubbish.) A fair bit of Somerville's 1st class games were played for NSW too, so he doesn't even have the experience on NZ wickets as Ajaz does.. I'd have been pretty shocked if he was in the squad for a home series...

Rehan was just poking fun at Pakistan's ability to lose wickets to debutant bowlers. Happened previously with De Grandhomme and a bunch more. We can bat against Starc and the likes and get runs, and then against an inexperieced bowler - we'll through the whole innings down the drain.
