Nokia, the world's biggest mobile phone maker, has said that it is suing its US rival Apple for infringing patents on mobile phone technology for the iPhone.
Nope, they are suing them because Apple used technologies that Nokia had patented (researched and developed and paid large sums of money to patent boards to keep royalties) before. Essentially the iPhone is using technology that Nokia developed/researched without paying Nokia back for the rights to use that technology.
If you develop a cell phone you will be using the technologies which Nokia had invented. Apple has not payed Nokia any loyalty for its iPhone's. Either they have developed some secret technology or they are playing bad ass.
