"Not enough free space"

Hi,

I'm trying to start a tour or competition on Xbox One, but getting an alert that "There's not enough free space" - attempt to delete other saved data... I have been having crashes when attempting to start a competition/tour since the 2nd patch was released...

I have only used 46% of space on my Xbox, so not sure what's happening here. Any one any ideas?

Are you playing with out of the box teams or teams for which you haven't downloaded logos or custom stuff? Ross did mention that the custom logos and other items are taking up too much memory causing crashes.
 
I've downloaded all the big bash, English county, 5 international teams, the associates - all the ones in the 'which teams to download' thread. So yeah you're probably right then, looks like it's just custom matches for now then?!

I got that on the ps4 when trying to download the second patch which was only 54MB!!! -- I hade to delete 5GB of videos to get the 54mb file downloaded!

There is a system imposed limit on the amount of save data each game can have (which is lower on Xbox One). You will need to delete from within the game - such as those other competitions - just go to the delete tile in the Tour/Competition sections and remove any you won't/can't play.

If you downloaded the teams manually, the crashes on starting competitions/tours are likely that you are running into a known issue regarding team logos. You can either do 'Get Best' on those competitions, or edit those teams and go to the identity section and swap a customised logo for the original on disk logo. That will only resolve for new competitions/tours/careers though.
