Hurtle Hunks Vs FireStorm

On Wednesday Evening the great FCL Twenty20 Cup had started in style at Kolkata (Eden Gardens) there was lot of pressure for both the teams because this was there first match. Both teams have got their perfect squad for the breathtaking opening match the stadium is fully packed to see the clash of titans.

Toss had been so crucial due to weather concern but the pitch reports suggest that will be evenly matched pitch with ball coming nicely to bat and for the bowlers there will be a hint of swing in the air to attack the batsmen. Two Captians with Umpire out there in the field for the toss.

Firestorm won the toss and elected to bat first with there strong batting lineup

Gilchrist and Vikram started their innings for Firestorm but the Hurtle Hunk experienced bowling with the like of Glenn McGrath and Alan Donald made the life difficult for the batsmans McGrath strike in his very first over gilchrist was the one who didn't read the in-swinger delivery and lost his off stump and gone for 2 and then the new Comer Vikram Agarwal lost his wicket for 9 Hornbuckle was the catcher at mid-on and then the master batsmen Brain Lara came into the crease and played a soft knock soon got out from the perfect delivery from Donald brilliant skills from the captain wicket keeper Shubharayu at last after 5 overs Firestorm were 45-3.

Mad Snake took the reponsibility to build the platform for the team after Brain Lara got out he played all the balls to the boundaries but at the other end wickets fumbled finally he got some support for the great all rounder Chris Harris he played the waiting game and giving the strikes to Mad snake at the end of the 10th over Firestorm were 94-5.

Both of them played carefully and slowly built their partnerships to get the reasonable target at the end of 15th Over the Firestorm were 144-5 meanwhile the Hurtle Hunks bowlers are on the target giving nothing to the batsmans making them to take the risk.

At the end of the Firestorm innings chris Harris lost his momentum and lost his wicket this time pollock got the break through and at the last over Mad Snake tried to loft the ball in the vacant third man region but the ball ballooned in the air and landed in the hands of the short fine leg (Flintsone) who got a comfortable catch at last Firestorm were 155-7 in their 20 Overs.

Then comes the Hurtle Hunks with the target 156 the two openers made there way to start their innings the Flintstone was on fire against the Firestorm bowlers he sends all the balls to a walk in the sky meanwhile jayasuriya with his own style played a miracle innings this both got their 50 runs patnership in no time the firestorm bowlers where hammered at the end of 5 overs H2 were 62-0

FireStorm got the wicket of dangerous flintstone by there main pace bowler Blackmagic who bowled a very good in-swinging yorker, and then the captain Shubhrayu joins the party with jayasuriya but lost his wicket in the very first ball he faced beautifully bowled by Ambekar at the end of 10th Over H2 were 111-2

Amiya Shreyas played a gem of a innings in his short time in the crease giving the support and smashing the loose balls to the boundaries in the end the jayasuriya cleanly finishes the match in style with 8 wicket remaining the Hurtle Hunks win the 1st match against the Firestorm with ease.

Celebrations started for Hurtle Hunks in there Opening Encounter against the FireStorm

Man of the Match was awarded to non-other than the Master Class Batsman Sanath Jayasuriya for his wonderful knock of 80 off (43 balls) I hope u all enjoyed this match as much as i did.

Have you watched the video how was it?

The teams of next match (i.e.) H2 and MXI
Please Post your Teams as soon as possible.
The bowling Strategy is the Key i think, So post the squad with 20 overs bowling Strategy.
Just simply mention how many overs a bowler should bowl in his spell.
