I know there's a few people on here who take pride in their appearance, and enjoy buying themselves decent clothes to wear, so i thought i'd make a thread to discuss what you're considering buying, what you've bought, etc. There might already be a thread for this, but i looked to page 10 and couldnt find one, so we'll just have to use this.

It's my Birthday next Friday, so i'm going to be buying myself some clothes. Here's some of the stuff that i'm gunna buy:

Might buy some more, but those are the items that i'm actually going to buy :D Guna get myself some new jeans aswell, looking forward to getting some new clothes.

jeans, vans trainers and a band t-shirt, served me well for many years, the only thing i really shop for is belt buckels, i have loads

That metal would annoy me so much. If I bought trousers that fit, I wouldn't need a belt.

All my pants fit me, I still wear belts.

I can safely say I own all of those items of clothing pictured in the first post. :D

Because it's fashion. Sooner or later you'll realise that you just can't pull off the trackies and t shirt "I don't give a shite about myself look" anymore.

So I will wear a polo shirt and smart black trousers for work, much as I do for school. Never, never will need to wear a tight big belt for anything.

Works for me. Give me T-Shirt and trackies over jeans and shirt anyday. That being said, I occasionally wear the latter to houseparties - of which, I assume, you have quite some experience.

Hate to admit this Lee, but Scummer is right. Soon you're brain will be taken over by how people see you. It's just part of growing up.

You may not be wearing a belt, but trackies and a t-shirt will be out the window.

Some of you guys amaze me, i've always cared about my appearance, wearing decent looking clothes and doing your hair makes you feel good about yourself, and more confident. Also, youre not gunna get much lady attention in t shirt and trackie. Looking good is massively important for me personally, and id feel weird going out having not dressed well and done my hair .

I wasn't going to make reference to the lady issue but seeing as Dan has, i'll give my two pennies worth as well;

If you wanna get laid (and trust me, when you've finished puberty you really will-and i'd highly reccomend it) you've gotta make an effort. You have to do your best to get their attention and catch their eye with what you wear. Try going for night on the lash in trackies and a t shirt and you'll have no chance. Honestly, some bouncers won't even let you in!

Just out of curiosity Lee have you ever had a girlfriend? :p

I usually just wear jeans and either a united shirt or one of my many cricket shirts. That or just a normal t-shirt, not that bothered to be honest. Anyway ever since I've started working on my abs I've wanted to show them off so this summer it's out with t-shirts and in with skin :p Well maybe not when I go out but if its hot then its worth it. I don't wear belts or anything though, but half my friends are like Hooper and don't care what they wear because their smackheads. (only joking hooper lol). When it comes to shoes me and my mates all got nike trainers with our nicknames on them for a laugh. An expensive laugh though.

I agree with King Pietersen on his mention of confidence and feeling weird if you go out not looking good.

But the women issue is totally wrong. And not really something that needs to be discussed here.
