I didn't really get the one with the cricket bat.

the cricket bat one means that the batsman smacks the bowlers for two sixes and the bowler says to the batsman its not you its your bat which is hitting the ball... am i correct?

Yeah, Agree with Khalek. E.g, Say you're a crap batsmen and you have a cool bat and then you hit a 6. People would say it is the bat which is doing the hitting, not the player.
