The much awaited and hyped patch 3, 11.8mb? can't be.

I'm not sure exactly what Big Ant do to counter piracy, but if you didn't when you bought the game, I suggest deleting all save files and profiles that were created by a pirate copy or before you fully removed it.

All clean and running well after a clean install after I bought the game 3 weeks back.

Regarding the points I made, I found a few improvements like more misfields by AI (as well as my team) after increasing difficulty. Though still not encountered any no ball/wide ball from AI. But have to admit- Batting has become more authentic and at same time more difficult after increasing difficulty.

For opposition as you said is visible in the game across all modes, for our own player in career mode, well we already know their strength and maybe weakness too. If you are saying it should be implemented in non-career mode games, then yes it would be nice addition.

Yes, it would be most useful when playing non-career mode.

It is a patch adding a skip match button to career mode: no gameplay has been patchrd yet. It is not the elusive patch 3

It isn't the next patch, it's just a small update that adds simulation option to the career mode.

That simulation option update, is it available for PS3 as well?

It'll be of much help, as I don't wish to play all matches,,,"I'll make it as if I'm injured"

Maybe it's in the "elusive" patch, who knows

It isn't available for the old-gen consoles. Unlike PC, the process to release a patch is more laborious on consoles and therefore, console patches are generally accumulation of various fixes rather than being one tiny update.

No, it doesn't improve your stats or skills. It's basically there so people who don't want to play a certain format can skip those games.
