PC Airways (a new start)

Great look forward to it. Shame I replied as I was looking forward to seeing your wrath! On a completely off-topic note I watched some of my favourite Scrubs episodes toady after a long time. Love that!

Meeting summary:

Social-Etiquette_Proper-Handshake_Los-Angeles-Etiquette.jpg

After taking in everyone's input I have decided to do the following:

- PC Airways is now based out of Schipol, Amsterdam. All aircraft are at Schipol as are all pilots.

- Pilots will be paired in groups of 2, each partnership has been assigned an aircraft and a "mission" for the next fiscal quarter.

- Decision to buy the Air Bus A300 approved with stipulation that purchase only go ahead after company has $80m in assets (currently have $62.5m).

- Jack Teague and Brenden Hedger have been hired.

- Bilal Shuja has been dismissed from PC Airways.

---------------------------------------------------

Partnership information (Senior pilot listed first):

Flight crew #1: Jono Choie and Brendon Hedger (PC1 737 crew)

Flight crew #2: Covvy and Riz Khan (Air Bus A300 Crew)

Flight crew #3: Rick Adams and Jack Teague (ATR Flying Dutchman crew)

Flight crew #4: Ben Manning and Charles Sumtin (Beechcraft Baron crew)
------------------------------------------

Assignments for next fiscal quarter:

FC1 fly to Mumbai, India and train FC4.

FC2: Regional flights in UK, using Sea Plane until delivery of Airbus is ready.

FC3: Regional flights in Western Europe. The company's workhorse pilots

FC4: fly regional hops in Mumbai, India until they recieve training from FC1

Learjet:2

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Addressing shareholder concerns:
What about getting our own paintjob on the planes?

Thanks to Pranav, User and Ollie, so far 2 out of our 4 aircraft have custom paints.

We are concerned however that the choice of aircraft seems to ignore the short haul market. Although a Lear would open up our routes in the executive market the shareholders I represent (very powerful investors from Krakow!) would like a re-think on the aircraft purchase front.

Pressure from the mafi........ahem I mean legitimate Polish investors have led to your very own ATR-72-500 and short regional flights for your crew.

Putting forward an idea for a flight rotation. Why don't you put forward a list of flights that you are willing to conduct and want to do, and then from there give the pilots the choice of where they want to go. The pilots get there choice based on their status in the company, so the leading pilot gets first choice and so on and so forth.

Apparently this is what British Airways do and would be a good idea so everyone gets some flights? Say each pilot gets to pick two flights from the list, then when you have finished with that one, create a new list and so on?

This was the main inspiration behind the partnership system I am introducing. I am going to try to do something similar to flight selection and rotation policy you are talking about. A great help and thanks!

None for the moment.

need to expand our flying base a bit and we need to have some sort of a 'hub' somewhere in the world so we can fly around the world from there.

Good suggestion. So to start the ground work, I have concentrated everyone in Schipol, Amsterdam. From here on we are going to expand, once we get the Airbus. FC1 is going to train FC4 to fly jets in South Asia, so soon we will have 2 large hubs, Schipol and Mumbai. Great suggestion and I'd love feedback.

Also as for your suggestion of buying a 747 or a similar aircraft, not feasible at this point. The 747 is around $200 million.

I do hope to have larger jets like that and the A380, in the future. Maybe even a Concorde :)

Nothing really, going along nicely.

None as of yet.

PC1 makes emergency landing on Hedger's first flight.

Flight Crew 1 news

PC1 left Schipol today, on it's journey to India only to turn back immediatly after take off. The landing gear would not retract and debutant pilot Hedger managed a safe emergency landing. Our reputation took a massive hit, but it's worth all lives saved.

Damage to PC1 was $1.6 million. Repairs will be made at Schipol, and she will continue south to Madrid, with FC1, this time Choie will be piloting.

Eventually, basically for the next meeting, I will put up all the flights we are going to run, the senior pilots get first pick and so on.

For the time being, you will be in India flying short hops, until FC1 get there, then you and User will get a jet.

Can you please put me in the waiting list for this?

No waiting list, we will have a vote every so often and that will decide who gets admitted. I'll let you know when it's nomination time and then you can put your name forth. Won't be for a while though.
