Is it just me who has Cricket Revolution run at an awful frame rate no matter what?

I'm running a PC that runs AC09 fine, yet even at lower resolutions I still get problems running CR smoothly.

Windows 7 Professional
Pentium 4 HT 2.8GHz
nVidia 7600GT
1.5GB DDR RAM

Any suggestions? Already tried all the ingame quality options, yet nothing seems to get me a decent speed in game.

Yeah, it's just you!:p

Funnily enough when I went from Vista to Windows 7 things improved dramitically although I have to say that of all the cricket games I play this thing sure makes my computer get warm!!!!

I take it you have the latest Nvidia drivers and you let Nvidia run the application? (This usually helps!)

My computer just goes through different degrees of rattling, sometimes giving it a whack helps that, other times it just makes no difference. Turning the radio up a bit solves it in those other times.

A new computer is on my list of things to buy, but considering how much other stuff is on that list, a good cricket game will release before I get to upgrade.

Mmm just having a look at the amount of memory you have: that could be the problem. On the other hand if Ashes 09 works well then that shouldn't be such a problem: I have 4 GB DDR; can run Cricket Revolution well but Ashes only on lowest settings.

Oddly it seems setting everything to max has got the best results, and rebuilding the game cache in steam, apparently I was missing a file, but it still does seem to be fairly slow for the look of the graphics.

Now, back to working out how to bat.

I'm stuck on AGP, so it is about as good as you can get. But as I said, it is very odd for a much more demanding game like AC09 to run smooth on it, yet have CR run slowly.

I have the same problem, even though the latest patch seem to help with the problem, I still feel the game should be running better.
my specs:
Intel e6300 2.8GHz
4gb Ram
1gb ATI HD4870

running on windows 7
