Pitch wear, Where is it ????

I have definitely seen some wear on the ps2 version, but not as much as the picture posted above.

If I believe right, it appeared on the second day of a test match.

I haven't seen any pitch wear on the XBox version either. I played 4 hours solid last night (but they were all one day internationals). Is pitch wear only applicable with test matches or soemthing?

This is crap....the pc version looks like it has heaps...but theres crap all on the xbox..theres all this white stuff by the end of day 3 but nothing comapred to that screenshot

Try playing a test on a crumbling pitch. You should see some wear.

It might exist in the game, but is being displayed badly due to either a flaw in the xbox game or some kind of inadequacy in television graphics or the xbox. In other words, try aiming for where you think the rough is and see what happens.

It does work, bowling with Gilo I got one to turn out of the rough starting about 1 1/2 ft outside leg to ft outside off. This was on a damp pitch towards the end of day one. Just aim for where the bowlers footmarks would be

i have played 7 test matches on the xbox, cant see any wear at all, that pc screen looks great with the wear, why the hell aint it happening. Oh and btw my matches last 1.2 days at the most. Is there an option to turn wear on?

On the PC version, there is pitch wear on artificial grass after only 5-6 overs.

I've seen plenty of wear on the various pitches during my Ashes series on the Xbox. It doesnt usually appear until about day 2 or 3 on most wickets except for the sticky wicket. You shoudl see dry patches appearing after a day or so. Bowed Gilchrist earlier with a ripper from Gilo that pitched in the rough and clipped the top of off.
