Match presentation with Michael Atherton
Chat with Losing captain A.Flower

"It just didn't go right for us today or in any of the days and are batting was just not good enough. We should taken a few catches in their innings and should have had them all out for about 200.Our batting was shocking though in both innings with highest score from Jefferson in the first innings of 34 and from that point we had no chance of getting anything out of this match."

chat with winning captain G.Pleavin

"Everything right for us in the last few days,Batting,Bowling and Fielding have just clicked and it's down to our hard work in the winter nets.I was pleased with the way myself,Surendar and Hemlani played batted and in the bowling department Rhys, treva and Waugh bowled particularly well.Tobes kept well and we all caught some good catches.Looking forward to our first match in the national League."

Chat with Man of the Match S.Culli

"I'm delighted with winning Man of the Match in our first game but i think we won this match with a massive team effort.I'm happy with the way i bowled i thought all the work in the nets paid off and i was getting a good rhythm out there in the sun on that beautiful bowlers wicket.looking forward to the nets and hope we can capitalize on this early start."

How about an interview with the keeper. Ask him how it must have felt like, dropping sitter after sitter after sitter...

Pleavin wins the toss and elects to bat first on a gorgeous day here at the County Ground. The pitch should offer a bit for both sides throughout the day. PCA come into the match sky-high with confidence. A couple of debutants shouldn't phase the side too much.

Pleavin and Murphy stroll out to the crease looking for a big partnership. Saggers is to take the new ball.

PCA 0/0 (1.0 overs)
Pleavin 0*
Murphy 0*

oh no Azza it's unfair on Culli now as he was MOM of the last match and is not in the squad.
did you npot get my PM?

I didn't get a PM from you Treva :S

Pinchy I said it's due to change depending on circumstances.. We won't have a pinch-hitter at 5 if we collapse early.

Even if Culli was MOM and Surendar was top order.. I think we should still be trying new things at the start of the season before working things out for definite. Look at Australia's side. Gilchrist doesn't open the Tests just because he opens the ODIs or vice-versa. Experiments may work out.
