The Assassins walk over with joy after knocking Kent over with ease

Saggers spoons a full pitched delivery to Manee at mid-on - and he doesn't let this one slip. A fantastic effort from the bowlers all-round. They were all economical and took wickets. Tight lines were bowled and the quicks used the seaming pitch to full effect. The Assassins fans shouldn't pop the champagne yet as the top order have to contend with a decent bowling attack and a pitch that is moving the ball a mile.

Kent Spitfires 75 (29.4ov)

Chapman 0-0 (3)
Williams 2-12 (6)
Manee 2-6 (5)
Tahir 1-21 (6)
Dunn 1-24 (5)
Hemlani 2-0 (2)
Culli 2-9 (1.4)

A sorry looking scorecard from a Spitfire perspective.. but it's all smiles for the Assassins.

The openers walk out onto the field after an early lunch full of confidence. The instructions from Pleavin is to take it slow and keep wickets while punishing anything loose. The ball will move around early and make batting difficult.

Luck goes PCA's way in an eventful start

Surendar edges a back foot cover drive off his 2nd ball, and it somehow manages to sneak through Carberry's hands at first slip and to the boundary. The fielders, and Surendar, are left puzzled wondering how he missed it. The next ball Surendar spoons a drive to mid-on and it sneaks through Key's leg, another lucky 4. A shaky start for Surendar, but the runs are there.

Planet Cricket Assassins 0-10 (1.0ov)

Pleavin 1*
Surendar 9*

Saggers 0-10 (1)

Luck continues to fall to PCA

Surendar was caught by an absolute acrobatic beauty from the Kent keeper - however the umpires left arm was out. A no-ball called. The next ball Pleavin was given not-out through a third umpire run-out decision. Otherwise, the two look pretty good and can keep going through for the win.

Planet Cricket Assassins 0-30 (5.0ov)

Pleavin 5* (10)
Surendar 20* (20)

Thanx to the bowler to bowl a no ball!!!!
Just 45 more runs!!!!

Hahaha that's me as a real cricketer :) I think I'm more of a batsman in this - probably the strongest back foot player in the side too.

i'm not to sure about that i'm pretty good on the back foot to
