I am announcing the launch of Planet Cricket League (PCL) ! A roster will be made in which Australian State Teams will be swapped for Planet Cricket Teams in which the players will be us! To register type your desired name and role (like bat,ball,allround,wicketkeep,bowler etc.) and bat, bowl position. The lower down the order the higher stats for batsman and same way for bowlers.
The fun doesn't end there! The actual members of teams (who have registered) will play matches against other teams. The way is simple. First toss will be held, winning player will choose to bat/ball in the match. (So if the winner wants to bat the other player also will have to bat.) Then post the match file on net and other player can download it and play. (he needs to put proof tht he won) If he wins his points will be added in league tsble for his team. The captain will choose the player for match.(Obviously the players will choose the captain.) After end of a season (about four months) points will be added and the winner will be declared.
I am all ears to all suggestions except the suggestion to abort this league.
So register, the early bird will catch the worm.
Considering the need of organisation few changes have been made!
1. Do not post in this forum but in PCL team A, PCL team B, PCL team C, PCL team D, PCL team E, PCL team F forum depending on which team you want to be.
2. No team should have more than 2 players applying for the same position in Batting or Bowling Lineup. In case of 2 players applying for the same position seniority in terms of registering would be considered to include in the playing eleven. (The other person would go into 20 man squad but not in the 11). Anyways, No need to worry as he can still play matches with himself in the playing 11.)
3. No person except the officialy released 20 man squad can be used to play matches.
Plesae note that Players should give their
*Batting Position
*Bowling Positon
*Bowler Type( Spin/fast medium etc.)
*Agrression for batting and bowling
*Nationality
*Type (Bat/Bowl/all etc)
The players who have registered PCl forum need to register in any of the following forum
Team A
Team B
Team C
Team D
Team E
Team F
