There's actually nothing wrong with the site and it certainly isn't a security risk from our point of view. If you read it the idea is so you can read content on members-only sites. As PC isn't members only there's no point in having a username/password combo there anyway.
The one that was there will allow you to log into a (now banned) regular user account; it doesn't give access to anything else.
The site doesn't try to hack passwords and is offering a decent service which is totally useless in the case of PC :).

If they somehow get a hold of a moderators password it could be disastrous - Especially if it were one of the administrators.
I suggest that the links be taken down as it is a link to a shady/illegal website which promotes hacking, and we don't want to be involved with that, would we? :)

There's no 'somehow' about it. The moderator would have to post their password and even then mods don't have as much power as you think ;)
I'll keep this open in case there are any more questions but I don't want to see any more spam.

So I take it you won't be staying around for any tea then Colin? :p

Don't the mods and globies just have acess to the staff forum? So what do "The Big 4" have acess to then (I quite like that nick-name for you admins :p)

An admin CP to start with and maybe even more. If someone somehow got into an admin's account they could do alot of damage to the forum. So in other words, it would be very bad. ;)

The big 4 have access to the admin control panel, which is used to control the whole site, and its nitty-gritties.

If the Big Red Shark decides one day to steal all your vcash, your rep boxes, and reset your posts to 0, it would take him exactly 30 seconds to do that :p

We have phpmyadmin which is more powerful than ACP and also, of course, access to forum backups.
For info my username and password are:

Any capitals in that or just lower case? Since some logins are case-sensitive.

Globies and Moderators as far as I know have the same accessibility except Globies moderate everything, whereas us blues have our selective area. Not sure if globies have banning powers, moderators don't. You wouldn't be able to do much damage if someone hacked say mine or Manee's account. Unless someone wants to go around putting expleitives in peoples signatures?

Woah, a lot of worry it seemed.

It'd probably be a good idea to change your password now and again ;)
